Enterprise operations
Audit tracking, project management and ticketing systems designed around accountability, visibility and the way teams actually work.
Audit · Projects · TicketsAI is fundamentally changing the banking software industry. For the first time, people with the right experience can build focused software faster—and often better suited to the bank—than products available on the market.
Can everyone do this? No. AI alone is not enough. You need broad banking and operational experience. You need to know where the data lives and how to access it. You need to understand what the bank and its employees actually need. You also need software development discipline and the ability to engineer effectively with AI.
I bring all of those capabilities together: 35+ years of bank operations and IT leadership, hands-on development experience, deep knowledge of bank data and modern AI engineering.
This should scare traditional core vendors. Banks are still asked to rely on promises and roadmaps while important improvements can take months or years to arrive. Experienced bankers using AI engineering can now prove a different development model.
The game changer: software that can securely access the Jack Henry® SilverLake System® core processing solution in real time
I can now engineer modern applications that securely access the SilverLake System core as banking activity happens, not hours later through a batch process.
At the center is my Microservice API, which integrates the JHA SOAP calls and gives modern applications a cleaner way to communicate with the SilverLake System core. That bridge is a game changer for what I can build: real-time inquiry, real-time CRM, loan stress testing, profitability tools and new operational workflows working with current core information.
Many legacy and vendor-provided applications still depend on delayed, batch-oriented information. A reusable microservice layer changes that model by making real-time core access available to purpose-built software.
This is no longer a roadmap concept. The integration is working, and it opens the door to an entirely new class of core-connected software.
Current core data. Modern experiences. Built at AI speed.
My portfolio demonstrates how quickly deep banking knowledge, development experience and AI engineering can become practical systems—from enterprise operations to real-time core-connected applications.

Stress test · ProfitabilityI am an active bank EVP and Chief Information Officer with more than 35 years of experience across bank operations and IT. I have also been developing software for years—designing, coding, testing and deploying applications long before AI entered the development process.
Before AI, I created a complete online banking system for a startup company. It was an ambitious, highly capable application built through traditional software development. That experience gave me the technical foundation to recognize what AI can accelerate—and the judgment to know whether the result is actually good software.
That foundation matters. AI does not replace banking judgment or software discipline—it amplifies them. Today I can engineer useful, sophisticated banking software faster and better than I could have ever imagined.
The people who understand how to combine real industry expertise, development skill and AI engineering are going to change the game.
For decades, banks have bought mature applications and waited months or years for enhancements. AI engineering changes the economics and the timeline. I have taken multiple systems from an operational idea to a working application in hours—not months or years. This could be a new model for banking software: modern applications that can be customized with AI around the needs of each bank.
Future articles will share practical observations from bank operations, software development and AI engineering.
How AI engineering is changing the technology choices available to banks.
What becomes possible when modern applications can work with current core data.
Why operational knowledge matters as much as the technology itself.
I have proven ideas, working systems and a growing real-time core-integration capability. Right now, my priority is finding strategic partners with strong banking or technology-industry relationships who can help open the right doors and shape the next stage.
I am not simply looking for sales help. I am looking for people who understand the opportunity, have meaningful connections and want to help take CommunityBankSoftware.com to the next level.
If you understand the potential for AI-customizable, real-time banking software and know the people who should see it, I would like to hear your thoughts.
